A couple from Scotland who wished a thistle was part of my collection so it could serve as a reminder of their lovely holiday here in suffolk, and a gentleman after one as a gift for his scottish wife, inspired me to revisit my early thistle designs and this is the end result!
The thistle has been the national emblem of Scotland since c1240 and symbolises luck, prosperity, resilience and strength.
Some consider thistles troublesome, but like me, many view them as a beautiful, structural, ornamental plant that also benefits wildlife. I have blue and white echinops and cardoons a plenty in my garden. Thistles can grow to more than 2.4m tall and this 170cm high, 8mm thick steel piece of garden art will certainly look quite magnificent positioned amongst your real flowers and shrubs.
Cut from 8mm steel, each forever flower stem will create instant impact in your garden for you to enjoy the whole year round. they are easy to install and no maintenance is needed. the super quality ensures that they can be repositioned time and time again.
Positioned in groups they make for a stunning artistic display, but equally a single stem will add structure, height and interest to your flower borders. supplied in their mild steel state, the golden rust patina develops over the coming weeks and months.
If purchasing 3 or more flower stems a 10% discount will be applied at checkout.
